(enter 2 or 3 children who stand at the front of the stage and say Scene 1 The North Pole
then exit)

(Enter elves, singing a typical Christmas song, Jingle Bells, or We wish you a
merry Christmas etc)
Elves:

Hello everyone.

Audience:

Elves:

Elves:

Fine thank you. We are elves.

Elf 1:

Elf 2:

We are happy.

Elf 1:

We are strong.

Elf 2:

We help Santa.

Elves:

We make the presents.

Elf 2:

We put the presents in boxes.

We wrap the presents.

We put the presents on Santas sleigh.

Santa:

Santa:

Yes, my name is Santa. I like good boys and girls. I dont like bad boys and
girls. Are you bad?

(They all go to sleep on the stage at the side. Enter Santa and his elves tiptoeimg
quietly)
Santa:

Put the presents under the tree.

(They all sing quietly, whispering)

(Exit everyone and enter robbers)


Robbers:

Hello everyone.

(They all sing quietly, whispering)

(The noise wakes the children up)

Robbers:

(Enter Santa and the elves while they are saying this and they creep up behind
them)
(Santa and the elves poke them with their fingers to get their attention)
Robbers:

Yes? (Turning round to see who it is)

Santa , Elves:

Merry Christmas!

(And Santa and the elves hit the robbers over the head and knock them out and
then everyone sings the final song Sung to the tune of Santa Clause is
coming to town.)
Everyone sings:

He is happy
He isnt sad
He is good.
He isnt bad.
Santa, Santa is our friend.
He is happy
He isnt sad

Santa, Santa ....... is ....... our ........... frieeeeeeeeend!
