RESUMEN
La presente investigacin explora la subjetividad y las contradicciones que se revelan a partir de
la representacin dominante de madre en un grupo de madres del Programa Vaso de Leche del
Distrito de Cayma - Arequipa, se consider como muestra a 15 madres y 2 promotores del PVL.
Siendo el objetivo de la investigacin: Explorar las contradicciones del rol materno en la
subjetividad del grupo de madres de familia. El estudio se realiz desde la epistemologa
cualitativa, utilizando para ello completamiento de frases, composiciones y grupos de discusin;
profundizando y encontrando continuidad en un estudio de caso. Desprendindose la necesidad de
reeestructurar la posicin de la mujer en la familia y la sociedad as como la resignificacin de las
polticas pblicas desde los sujetos hacia los que van dirigidas.

ABSTRACT
In this paper we explore under a subjectivity-oriented perspective- the contradictions that arise
through the dominant representation of mother, in mothers' group of the Program Glass Of Milk
of Cayma's District - Arequipa, we consider as sample 15 housewives with low incomes and
finished highschool education and 2 promoters of PVL. Being the target of the investigation:
Explore the contradictions on maternal roles inside the subjectivities of this housewivesgroup.The
study was conducted from the qualitative epistemology, for which several strategies and devices
were used, such as discussion groups, compositions and the completion of unfinished phrases,
deepening and finding continuity in a case study. Shedding the need to restructure the position of
women in family and society, as well as the redefinition of public policies from the subjects to
which they are directed
