Ok I need to write approximately 5 pages and I dont have ideas about this topic.
Personal opinion:
Sincerely I think of prostitution is bad, but there are many women working day to day in
this activity. I ask myself: Why do these women do this? I think this question is a good
point to start to write and find answers.
1. Why do these women do this?
Its a good point of start, I think this happen for 4 reasons:
1. Women are cheated for bad men. For instance I heard a time ago that women of the
jungle were cheated with the next story: One unknown man spoke with women saying
the next: If you come with me to the capital, you will earn a lot of money, 3 or 4 times
more than in this city and you wont pay for living in a house, because all girls who
travel to Lima get a private room and they also have free food. I think of it and in reality
it sounds as a good idea. Ok I will work in the capital and I will earn 4 times the money
that I am earning in this city. They would normally say: When will we travel? However
when they arrived to Lima, they were cheated and they were forced to work with men,
of course the salary for some of them were good and many of them preferred to work in
that job.
2. Other women prefer the easy money. Evidently most people prefer to work in a
normal job, but the rest prefer to do other kinds of job like prostitution, work with drugs
or maybe to be a delinquent, and so in that group there also are women that prefer the
prostitution as a style of life. I suppose that in the beginning is a horrible work, but with
the time, they like to do that. If you do a fast count about the money they earn per day is
reasonably higher than the average. They have enough money to buy clothes, pay for
their food and can go out with friends or lovers, I dont know, but I suppose they also
have their own life. I.e. they dont need to have sex all day, but they also do other kinds
of activities, but obviously the most part of the time they are dancing, having sex and
drinking beer.
3. The disintegration of the family. For instance if a woman had negative experiences
during her childhood as the abandonment of the father or mother, that affects directly to
the woman.
There are also women that since an early age had problems in their schools or maybe in
their houses and then they were sent to reformatory schools where were mistreated
every day and the unique thing that they thought in that moment, it was in to be out of
there.
Finally there are also cases like bad relationships between fathers and daughters and
even rapes, which are worst.

4. One last reason but not the less important is that they enjoy having sex, the money is
secondary, and if they have the opportunity of being with a good lover, they do all they
want. Normally these kinds of women are known as nymphomaniacs. They enjoy of the
pleasure of having sex in any moment they want just for a bit of fun and of course
satiate all the needs that their body require.
The last lines were just done to explain why women do this. Now I need to think what they
can do to eradicate this kind of activity.
2. What can they do to eradicate this kind of activity?
1. In the before answer I spoke about how men cheated women to work in a different
place where they lived, well I have some ideas about how eradicate this.
- First. The police, if they do raids to these kind locals, I am pretty sure that policemen
will find a lot of women that are being cheated and that need help. So, that could be a
good start to eradicate the prostitution.
- Second. If the police talk to the family, the prostitute will be forced to come back to
their native town and then they would be forced to work in a different kind of work
without having sex.
- Third. Go to the prison. OK It is not a good way to punish people, but for this case
maybe would be a good way to rectify their attitude and then thinking of doing a new
kind of activity.
2. Respect to my before answer in 1.2. They liked getting easy money. I dont really
know, but I think of the kind of education that they had in their childhood. If the
education in their childhood had been good, they wouldnt probably be doing that.
Women that work in prostitution normally they didnt have the best education and
instead of go to school they had to work every day, so their way of thinking is as
different as about how everybody earns money in his or her life.
3. In the case when a woman is mistreated by his father or even raped by him, its very
important to do a complaint to the authorities and then arrest to the rapist, at the
moment, there are a lot of cases where women dont say anything about the
mistreatment that they suffer and that is a huge problem. If any of us in any moment see
some like that we must notify to the police, of this way we will be helping her to she
has a different future.
And what can we do when a father or mother leaves home?. In that case is very
important give the correct education to the child because the psychological danger can
be very serious with the time, often happens that these women find men with similar
characteristics to the father. For instance, if the father was aggressive with her, she will
find a man with the same characteristics, it sounds a little bit crazy, but there are a lot of
cases of that way that produces that innocent women never say that they had problems
with that kind of situations and finally they finish doing prostitution.
And finally the reformatory schools, that kind of places must help to women, however
the result is all the opposite. Women that go out of there have bad habits of behavior,

the same happens in the prison, so is very important re-educate correctly to women who
go there for that when they out they dont work in nightclubs.
4. This would be a difficult answer because in 1.4., I said they enjoyed having sex. How
somebody could eradicate this?
I have been thinking of a simple way to answer this. The truth I dont have an answer. I
just suggest that they could do another kind of activity where they also can enjoy or
spend a good time.
I suggest dancing: For instance the pole dance. I dont know it, but it would be a nice
idea to follow earning a lot of money, in a similar environment, but you wouldnt need
to drink a lot alcohol or to be face to face with men.
3. Is this a dangerous activity?
Of course nobody knows if when you are having sex with other people, these people
have sexually transmitted diseases, which would be very dangerous for your health,
there are a lot of people dying for this reason. If you dont use a condom when you have
sex, you will have a lot of probabilities of getting a disease and in the worst case you
will die in a time.
The diseases like Acquired Immune deficiency syndrome (AIDS) and Human
immunodeficiency virus (HIV) are the worst diseases that you can acquire when you
have sex in a night of fun.
I have just searched information about the AIDS and you just have 5 or 10 years of life
after you acquire that disease and in the case of HIV, if you have treatment medical you
time of life is around 10-15 years, but all it depends of your immune system.
On the other hand, in the case of women is worst. They are in sexual contact many
times even in the same day. So their health is very vulnerable and their death looks
pretty imminent.
In addition, as we know, some women are standing on the street waiting men, there are
a lot of cases reported that when a man come with his car, he can kidnap her and then
rape her or even kill her.
Another consequence of prostitution involves the delinquency around the nightclubs.
There are many men walking in those places and since midnight they are very drunk, so
that the streets near nightclubs are very dangerous too.
Finally the quantity of alcohol that women need to drink during nights is a lot. Women
put in danger their lives.
Can you imagine what happens with your body if each day you drink alcohol?
The consequences are very bad, even if they earn a lot of money, nothing will repair
your body and the situation will worsen if during that period a prostitute has a baby.

Ok I will continue writing this essay trying to find a solution about this huge problem.
4. Is there some way to eradicate the problem?
In Sweden in 1999 the government approved a law where all man was punished if such
man trafficked with women, i.e. if a man forced to a woman to work in nightclubs or
places like those, this man was imprisoned in a prison.
In a beginning this law wasnt so effective because the police werent trained to follow
effectively the law, but after that the government trained specific people to work with
this law and they started to arrest to men who mistreated women, if a man traveled to
another country to bring beautiful women and then he did these women work in
nightclubs, this man was arrested.
In Sweden the prostitution has disappeared along these years, currently an 80% of
people approve this law and the percentage of prostitution is almost zero but what
happened with the women? The government paid them a certain quantity of money and
the goal was that they can survive and then it expected that women can work in a new
class of work.
5. How can we eradicate the prostitution?
What is the government doing in our city?
A time ago, the government had a good idea. It sent police cars during a night to close
some nightclubs located near El Altiplano Market. Policemen did something good, one
time in their lives. So since that day in that zone there arent delinquents and the zone is
safer than some months ago. Today when you go for that zone, there arent any local
open at nights.
The police cars every night were located in front of nightclubs during a time. The
intention was not to allow nightclubs will open again. So after a time, in reality until
today, those nightclubs havent opened again, the neighbors are very thankful with that
action, the streets are safer and the delinquents disappeared.
The problem with this approach is the reopening of new locals, if the police go to
another place to care of that place; a new local is opened in another place. In reality this
is a temporal solution, but there will always have other people will open new locals.
What would it be good to do?
I have 3 approaches:
- First solution: The government: I think that the problem will disappear when the
government apply a similar law as in Sweden. If the problem is approached since the
part most rooted, i.e. men who cheat women to work in nightclubs and they are
imprisoned as soon as be possible, many nightclubs wont exist.
- Second solution: The population: If they complain to the authorities to close those
locals, there would be less open locals.

- Third: This could take a long time, but I think of a good solution would be the
education in the long term. If a person is educated correctly, that person wont have to
work in that kind of job, on the contrary that person will think of a different way and
obviously will hate to work as a prostitute.
What can we say about solving this problem?
The prostitution will follow being a problem, at least during some years more, but as we
could see, the problem can be solved if it is approached since the correct point of view.
I hope that one-day, the prostitution doesnt exist, the reason is very simple: women
suffer all kind of mistreatments and that isn't fair at all.
Finally
In a perfect world there wouldnt be problems, but I am not very sure of that idea,
however if exist better conditions to everybody, each of us could decide to have a better
life.
