Beautiful Bowood
Make an entrance
The impressive Golden Gates entrance and
tree-lined driveway into Bowood is the perfect
way to start a wonderful wedding day.
At the end of the long drive you will find
a sumptuous wedding suite with its own
stunning outdoor terrace, private bar and a
very warm welcome from our highly trained
wedding staff who will, quite literally, roll out
the red carpet for you.
There is also a boutique hotel and spa, not
to mention a golf course and acres and acres
of space.
A wedding to remember
Our main venue, the Kerry Suite is licensed
for wedding ceremonies and provides a
beautiful, tranquil setting for the exchanging
of vows.
For a truly unique experience you can also
have a blessing in the chapel of the historic
Bowood House there is an additional charge
for this and transport would be needed for the
short trip across the Bowood Estate.
Drinks can then be taken in the Kerry Suite
bar or on the large outdoor terrace with views
across beautiful parkland.
There are plenty of lovely places to have
photographs taken in the stunning grounds,
whilst your guests are sipping the bubbly
- including the amazing Rhododendron
Gardens during the spring.

Your ceremony
We have a license for up to 160 guests. The two licensed rooms for Civil Ceremonies are the Kerry Suite or the
Fitzmaurice Room (a maximum of 50 guests). To contact the Registrar please call 0300 0034570.

Sample Wedding Menus
Your three-course menu includes coffee and truffles and all dishes can be adapted to suit individual requirements. Please
select one starter, one main course and one dessert for your party (this excludes special dietary requirements).
All dishes are served with Chefs selection of seasonal vegetables. Please note that menus are subject to change.
Starters
Ballotine of salmon with a lime crme frache
French onion soup with parmesan croutons (v)
