Television
Do you like watching television? Personally, I like watching
television. Having a television is like having a cinema at home. I can
release my stress and watch the programmes with my family. I like Thesis
watching television because there are a lot of advertisements, stories statement
and channels.
I like watching television because there are a lot of
advertisements. Advertisements make me happy. For example, I like
the Kit Kat advertisement featuring Zizan, the winner of Maharaja
Lawak. Zizan has a lot of fans. They want his signature. At first, he is
happy to give his signature. After a while, he gets very tired giving it to
many fans. He goes home and has a Kit Kat. He gets the idea to create a
stamp of his signature. Zizan is happy again to give his signature to his
fans because he just stamps his signature on the autograph book and
even on the face of his fans! This advertisement makes me happy. Thus,
I like watching television because there are a lot of advertisements.
I like watching television because there are a lot of stories.
I like watching dramas, movies and cartoons on television. Adam dan
Hawa, CSI: Miami and Hawaii Five-O are some drama series that I
like watching. Meanwhile, Harry Potter: Chamber of Secret ,
Twilight: Breaking of Dawn and Pirates of Caribbean: The Black
Pearl are some movies shown on television. Moreover, cartoon
programmes such as Mickey Mouse, Madagascar and Spongebob
Squarepants are my favourite. Hence, I like watching television
because there are a lot of stories.
I like watching television because there are a lot of channels.
For instance, I watch TVIQ channel for Oh My English every Sunday
at 7.30 p.m. In addition, I choose TV3 to watch Bersamamu every
Wednesday at 9.30 p.m. I also tune in to SuperSport to watch live
telecast of my favourite football teams such Manchester United,
Chelsea and Barcelona. Therefore, I like watching television because
there are a lot of channels.
As a conclusion, I like watching television because there are a
lot of advertisements, stories and channels. In my opinion, I learn a
lot of things from television. It is not wrong to watch television as long
as we do our homework and revision.

CONTINUOUS WRITING IS EASY

1. Write the introductory paragraph

Ask a question concerning the topic.

Answer the question yourself.

What is the meaning of best friend? It is a person who is close to us. It is someone who
always shares our problems and helps us to solve these problems. A best friend is a person you
can depend on in your hours of need. I guess everybody is familiar with this term.

3. Topic sentence
A topic sentence is the first sentence in the development paragraph.
It has the topic and one main idea.
o Topic sentence = Topic + 1 main idea
