Do the Nodes negate the conjugal bliss?

The Nodes, the karmic planets, play a crucial role in shaping the destiny of conjugal
life. Rahu-Ketu axis formed across the 2-8 or 6-12 houses will lead to marital
problems. They forebode an alarming signal. The exact way in which they will
manifest the malefic results depends upon other planetary combinations in the
horoscope.

Impact of Rahu-Ketu on marital life

Rahu and Ketu are karmic planets. They play decisive role in shaping the destiny of
one’s conjugal life Rahu-Ketu axis along with certain combinations definitely cause
problems in marriage. The nature and extent could be different, but affliction of
conjugal life is a mortal certainly. Venus is Karaka for marriage. Hence, Venus in
conjunction with Rahu or Ketu will definitely create marital problems.

Influence of Venus

Venus is the significator of love, beauty, the finer aspects of life and, thus, has
important bearing on marriage. Venus is the prime indicator of wealth, marriage,
sexual union and is a pivotal planet in female horoscopy.

It is an open truth that “marriage” and “carnal pleasures” are two distinct and
different spheres in life. Placement of Venus in a horoscope, its association with
other planets and the aspects it receives from other planets play an important role in
judging whether it gives positive or adverse results in marital life. To cite an
example, Venus conjunct with debilitated Mars and receiving aspects from Saturn
and Rahu will produce negativity in relationships and carnal pleasures. Various other
factors like its placement in Navamsa, position of its star lord etc. will throw light on
the fact whether it is a genuine, affectionate bondage or mere infatuation.
Horoscopes with well-defined planetary positions are easier to discuss. In reality,
majority of the cases are a mixed bag, where good and adverse consequences
alternate, which can be forecasted from the prevalent dasa, placement of the star
lord. Sub lord etc. Infact, under Bhrigu Nadi system, the natal planetary positions,
the rotation of transits of Jupiter and Venus determine the final outcome of
predictions. In this context, it should be noted that Venus gives results in its one
year’s cycle what Jupiter forebodes in its 12 year cycle around the Zodiac.

The girl committed suicide by burning herself within a short span of time after
marriage, due to unsatisfactory behavior of her husband. Rahu-Ketu axis occupying
the 2nd and 8th house from the ascendant caused maximum affliction.

Case-Study 2 - chart

This horoscope is that of a king of a princely state. He married six times to beget a
child, but did not get one. Finally, he adopted a child.

The maximum affliction of the Rahu-Ketu axis in 2-8 position from the ascendant is
further damaged by the conjunction of Moon with Rahu.

The chart belongs to Smt. Indira Gandhi. She became a widow.

Rahu-Ketu axis in 6-12 position from the ascendant caused ‘moderate’ affliction.
Rahu’s conjunction with Venus added to the woes. She used to stay away from her
husband for long period and then she became a widow also.

If we keep our mind free, clear and open, then there is no crisis in our life. We must
never leave our inner house in darkness; we must ever keep the light of consecration
burning there. Where there is light, God comes and no sense-robbers can enter. If
we keep our life in harmony evil will stay far from us. Some people pray only when in

itself.

Rahu-Ketu axis occupying 4-10 houses from the ascendant. Rahu in conjunction with
the 2nd lord Venus.

This chart belongs to a gentleman, who died in an accident just a day before his
wedding.
