Wrtsil started its presence in Kuala
Lumpur in 1996 as New Sulzer Diesel
Representative Office.
The Representative Office remained
until March 2001 when a local
Malaysian company was registered.
In 2002, the staff in Malaysia grew to
4 employees, and the office was also
providing marketing assistance for
Wrtsil's activities within the Marine
and Power industries.
