MOTION FOR BON COMES NOW Defendant, JAHSEH D, ONFROY, by and through the undersigned counsel pursuant to the Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure files this Motion to Release the Defendant on Bond or on his own recognizance and in support thereof would state: 1. On or about August 9, 2016, Defendant was arrested on an out of custody capias and charged with Armed Home Invasion and Aggravated Battery (Firearm/Actual Possession). 25 Defendan who was 17 years old at the time of the arrest; was transferred to Broward County Main Jail from the juvenile detention center due to the charges in this matter being direct filed as an‘adult. 3. On September 12, 2016 an Arthur Hearing was held and an Order was executed by the Honorable Lisa Porter, granting the defendant a bond. Defendant was ordered to Level 2 GPS Monitoring, he was to surrender his, passport and a total of $50,000 dollar bond was set, as a part of such release. 4~ On October 13, 2016, Pre-trial officer Ana Sylvain filed an Affidavit for Failure to Comply with the clerk of courts due to the defendant being detained #4 FILED: BROWARD COUNTY, FL. BRENDA D. FORMAN. CLERK 1/31/2017 2:29:39 PM***#10. in Miami Dade County, F-16-020566, an alleged domestic cas ; Battery on a Pregnant Women. Capias on such violation was Served upon the defendant on December 28, 2016 and he was taken into custody. Defendant is currently being held at North Broward Bureau with no bond, pending trial. Although, court has wide discretion to revoke ones bond if accused of a new crime, Defendant is asking the court to consider a new bond with stricter conditions, so that he may continue to.eam monies regards to his entertainment career. Defendant s nota flight risk and understands he is to be present at all hearings set before this court. Defendant has previously surrendered his passport to Broward County Clerk of Courts for safe keeping as per instructions of this court and is currently held by the Clerk. He has no current contact with the victim in the new matter, nor will he have contactif released. He is willing to follow any and all new requirements the court may have to ensure the safety of society and guarantee hhis future appearance at all court dates. Defendant would like to respectfully request his Motion for Bond be granted and he bellowed to post bond while he waits for charges to be filed before this honorable court.
