To assure that all castings are radiographed consist-
ently in the same manner, layout details shall be
provided. As a minimum, the layout details shall include:
(a) sketches of the casting, in as many views as
necessary, to show the approximate position of each
location marker; and
(b) source angles if not perpendicular to the film.

also equivalent to 702T and 1001T hole penetrameters.
Therefore, 504T, 702T, and 1001T hole type pene-
trameters are equivalent.

they comply with the requirements of Article 2. Wire
penetrameters shall be placed in accordance with the
