Frater V. O.I.A.has ask me to compose a paper on a Thelemic subject. However,

I have been quite busy lately with school, court, and recovering from a recent
surgery. Therefore, I am offering this paper as originally written by me in 1989.
Please note that it was made before the internet, or at least before I had it.
Also, it has not been peer reviewed. Feel free to give me comments positive or
negative.

 THE MANIFESTATION OF NU

Proof shall be presented of the psychosexual nature or the mystery of Noah’s Ark.
People who have read the biblical account of the flo-od will remember the story of
Noah. The story teaches the destruction of the world1, as a punishment for sin. It is
fascinating that the last card of the tarot trumps is called the World (also the
Universe). The path on the tree of life that is attributed to the world connects the
Moon(Soma) with Malkuth( the daughter)2
The story of Noah also teaches the righteousness of the Christ, the type of
righteousness of Noah. Indeed Jesus (666) is cabalistically equivalent to Noah-
Ham(666)
In the account of Cybele and Atys, which predates the story of Noah by centuries,
Cybele and Atys were Moon-Goddess and Sun-God respectively. The story according to
Phyrgia runs thus: Atyrs made a voyage in a ship; was nailed to a tree, represented by
a lamb, was three days and nights in the grave, rose from the dead at the vernal
equinox, was both the seed of the woman, Cybele and her bridegroom.
Clearly then, the Hebrews are not alone. The flood epic is in the minds of people
spread across the world. In the Babylonian version of the story,3 Berossus priest of the
god Bel is told by Bel to scrape the resin off the Ark, a plain hint to the collection of
the Kaca Kala.
One broken fragment from Sumeria speaks of the flood sweeping over the land and
tossing the huge boat about. It tells of how Zursudra the King, the preserver of the
“seed of mankind” “opened a window”. It also speaks of the hero bringing forth the
seven rays.
By far the most complete non-biblical account is the Silyomesh Epic. In the
eleventh of the twelve tablets found in the library of Ashur-bani-pal, we find the story
of Ut-Muphlen. He states he poured tree resin over the inside of the Ark together with
oil.4 He was commanded by the god Ea to take “the seed of all living things”. He

states that children were employed to carry the mixture. Gelgomesh instructs his wife
to “ mark on the wall the days he sleeps” (a clue to the calendar and the recording of
time by the menstrual cycle5 Gelgomesh awakes after the seventh day. The one main
feature of the account given in Genesis, is the minute attention observed in recording
dates, and instructing us on the use of the calendar.
The four periods of seven days given in the story of Noah’s Ark correspond to the
four phases of the Suvasini during her menstrual cycle as well as the four phases of
her temple life.

The flood in China was known as Kun, the grandson of the yellow emperor, who
took pity on mankind and succeeded in stealing some magic earth which absorbed the
flood. In this story, we see hints how the menstrual fluid (flood) was absorbed from
earth probably by a Bindu leaf. Plato records the statement of an Egyptian priest that
the gods wishing to purify the earth by water, overwhelmed it with a flood. Manetho
the Egyptian historian states, “ It was the god Thoth who set up the two towers of
knowledge in the Serindic land before the Deluge” Several other Egyptian
gods are connected with the flood. Ra, the sun-god, ordered Hathor (Athys) the
goddess of love and the guardian of the cemeteries of the dead, and Sekmet, goddess

of fire, to destroy the rebellious people of the world. When the world was filled with
Ra relented. The name (Athys) the Egyptian name of the flood month, as well as the
guardian of the dead (equivalent to Kali) we find associated with flood legends.
Earlier yet Atum, god of Heliopolis, let loose the waters of the great deep over the
earth.
Typhon prevailed upon Osiris to enter a chest which was floated down the Nile to
the sea. Typhon is associated with the dove. Noah released a dove to test the heights
of the waters.6 From Rome we get Janus. Janus was the god who looked both ways
(forward to the Fool and backward to the Universe). He became not only the god of
doors but also the opening of the year, hence January. Janus the two headed god, was
called the father of the world and inventor of ships. Presents given on his festivals
include: coins with the head of Janus on one side and part of a ship on the other, or in
some cases a dove with a branch in his mouth.7 The Norse god Odin (Od-In) was also
the god of the dead. Besides having two raven messengers, he was also called the
“Raven-god.” The raven long remained a symbol on Viking ships. The raven was the
first bird sent out by Noah8. The raven is the black bird of Set. Its number is 292. It is
attributed to the seventeenth path9 on the nightside of the tree. Genesis 8.4 states
“And the Ark rested in the seventeenth month, on the seventeenth day of the
month.” In the sigel for the seventh path both ends terminate in the letter G. The G
signifies the camel the ship of the desert, the vehicle by which crossing is achieved,
the Arch. It is the letter of the High Priestess, by gematria, 292 becomes(2+9+2)=13.

between extra-terrestrial or cosmic consciousness and the subconscious mind of man. It is via the cross,
the Tau in the initial O.T.O., that this inspiration leap between heaven and earth is made. By utilizing the
formula comported by the letters O.T.O., the earth is made ‘ starlit’, and we are transformed into gods and
goddesses in the New Aeon. [Kenneth Cox Starfire Vol. 1#2] This gives insight into the terms sons of god
from Gen.. The dove is also connected with extra-terrestrials that fecundate humanity. See Grant’s Night

The description of the thirteenth Kala reads: In a physiological sense, this Kala is the
unruptured hymen.) We are told in the beginning of the Noah story that the “sons of
god saw the daughters of men that they were fair, and that they took wives of all
which they choose.” The term “daughters of men” in Hebrew is “daughters of Adam.”
It must apply to women in general. It is used in the same sense as Enoch 6.1-7, “And
it came to pass the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto
them beautiful daughters and the angels saw the children and lusted after them, and
took unto themselves wives, and each choose for himself... and they bore giants.”
An ancient fragment of the Book of Noah states: I Enoch have already made known
to thee that in the generation of my father Jared some of the angels united
themselves with female children...and have begotten children of them... giants. The
number of giant is 78, which is also, the number of Aiwass and the influence from
Kether (Mezla). It is also the number of ZMAl, the angel that rules Mars. The Lion also
is attributed to Mars, hence, the Order of the White Lion. Another number for giants
is 210. 210 is the number of reversal topsy-turvey ( Viparita Karani), and therefore,
the reversal of the senses. 210 Hrunaku- the future Z-Aeon.10
Plutarch states “ That Osiris was shut up in his box and set afloat on the
seventeenth day of the month. When the nights were growing long and the days
decreasing. Egyptian months have no names in early times, only numbers. Plutarah
makes it clear he is referring to the seventeenth day of the month, well on into Fall,
for the nights were long. In Pluteron’s time, Athyr did coincide with November. In
Arahsomna, November was held sacred to Thor god of the rain. It is intriguing to note
the Anglo-Saxon called November blood month.
We now come to consideration of the word window, given in the Ark account, the
word TSOHAR. It is never used in the same sense in the Old Testament, and is quite
different from the word CHALLON , used in Genesis 8.6 and ARUBBAH used in another
verse in Genesis. Now this word comes from a root meaning to mount. Berasus, a
Babylonian priest, third century BCE accounts of Noah and family disembarking in
Armena. They disappear and become immortal, then journey to rebuild Babylon.

have known that 72 times the number of the days of Noah was in the Ark, 370, made up 26,640, the
number of lunar years in the Precession of the Equinoxes.
 One of the first methods of telling time was by the periodic emancipations of the
female. Age Piche Daroaja. The dancing figure in the Universe card holds the sickle as
a symbol of one who cleaves. This follows because according “the end begets the
beginning”. The path to the Universe connects Malkuth with Yesod. These two cards
together spell the word Ath, which means essence.
We may connect the statement from the Bible that the Spirit was brooding upon
the waters, with the observation that the four elements generated the material
universe. Earth and sea being the female elements and brooding being associated
with the coming to bear of menstruation. Fire and water were respectively Osiris and
Isis, the children of heaven and earth. While yet in their mothers womb, their son,
Horus with Set hidden within.
Now we return to the nature of Christ. He was born of a virgin, water being
worshipped by the ancients as the virgin goddess. The Gospel of John has “ Verily,
Verily I say unto thee, except a man is born of water and spirit, he cannot enter into
the Kingdom of Heaven.” How do we have a birth of water? By traversing the path of
the Universe that holds the sickle, that cleaves the Virgin, to bring forth water (Sorir
Kharap) that is of the dream state and hence Yesod.
Noah was lead by the Spirit, the comforter (The Comforter in Hebrew is HMNH
who’s number is 666) into the Arch. That on emerging from the waters ( Virgin
goddess) he might be figuratively born (initiated) as a child ( Horus-Set) born of water
and spirit.
The mysteries, therefore, describe the great father rending the vail entering the
Ark and setting afloat on the surface of the waters. As being enclosed within one of
the many symbols of the Devonian ship. They represent him as remaining in this state
during the mystical great year of the gods (The Precession of the Equinoxes).11
From reading the sixty ninth psalm, which was quoted seven times in the New
Testament, it can be seen Christ himself descended not only into Hades but into the
pit of the Great Watery Abyss. His prayer to be saved from the mire proves that; the
water of Chaos, out of which the cosmos was formed or reformed and which
overwhelmed it at the flood, are present in the Christian mysteries.

Noah name in Hebrew, Nh, was pronounced Nu.12 The word in Genesis 5.29
“comfort”, is Inhumnu, the last syllable of which is written Nu. The last two syllables,
changing the u into a h (conforming to the change adopted in scripture from the word
for Noah’s name) would be HMNH. Interpolated HMNH can easily be shown to
represent Noah, 666. (M=600, I=10,N=50,V=6)13 The first king of Egypt was Minn or
Minos MINV (M=600,I=1O, N=50,V=6) total 666 or Mena14 which equates to amen15, a
name for the Egyptian god “The Hidden One”16 and Ammon or Hammon17which is some
times use as a glyph for 9˚. The sacred song of Hymus,18 is also from HMNH. Noah was
regarded as espoused to baptism in the Ark. The Arch divides Earth and Sea, as
Hymen divided the bride and Groom before the wedding ceremony19 By
Boustrophedon reading, Amen or Amma becomes, Numem, or Nema, and by
hieroglyphic inversion, Men-nu(the rate of menstruation), becomes Numa, a word that
means god or oracle. Omen is equal to Amen and Amon-Re, Amenoph, and Amoneph.
These Egyptian gods, equate to 666 in Coptic and Greek Gematria. Finally, Noah was
666 years of age when Eber, the father who gave his name to the Hebrew nation was
born.20
