February 2017

20162017 Ocers Dear Brother and Sister Elks,

I hope everyone is doing well and is hanging in there with any New Years resolutions that you promised
for the 2017 year. Dont Give Up and Stay Positive!!! The last I heard we had an increase in daylight of
Geo Caron 60 minutes, which means spring is right around the corner. We are still taking food donations if anyone
Exalted Ruler has has any items that they would be interested in donating to a family in need. Also I would like to thank
everyone who brought in some items for a local family that literary had fallen on hard times, these items
Mike Aube were delivered and were well received. There is no better feeling than be able to help when someone has
fallen on hard times. Sometimes when we get busy with our everyday routines and busy lifestyles we
Leading Knight forget to step back and re0ect on the world around us and appreciate how lucky we are to have the
things we have, such as family and friends that were always there for us.
Ron Boisvert On January 13 th we had our State President J Andrew Bolz and 1st Lady Tricia Bolz in for a Visit and they had a great time and
Loyal Knight meal. I would also like to thank our dignitaries State President Elect Dave Anderson and soon to be First Lady Sandy and
Administrative Assistant Claris Ranger and his wife Roberta. Also thank you Brian Whiten for preparing such great meal for
our guest. Thanks also to everyone who assisted with the serving and the clean up, very much appreciated!! and well done.
