Sub: Proposal for future augmentation of C&W activities at DBRG

As discussed during the meeting regarding the upcoming infrastructural facility


of TSK Division, the following is considered:

1. At present, there are 2 pits under full utilisation. Another pit is going to be
commenced by Nov/Dec 2016 and additional 2 pits are planned and site
to be survey for additional trains ex DBRG with the commencement of
Bogibeel and increase in traffic density.
2. One Training cum Technical school with residence facility, Augmentation
with one more sick line also may be planned.
3. Running room (50 bedded capacity) to be shifted to RCD site from the
present location where the GRP building is allocated, so that the it is
noise free as per high power review committee.
4. Enough space to be allotted for boot laundry of 7 ton capacity to wash
and dry linens for increased trains.
5. Water harvesting and water recycling plant of appropriate capacity is to
be set up.
6. Automatic Coach washing plant needs to be installed in pit lines.
