The answers in the first column are tentative only. Yes, there is a big
difference between the initial column and the final column.

2.) What realization have you made with regard to the relationship between special
products and factors?
The realizations that our group made are special products use multiplication
to multiply together the factors of polynomial to get the product. Factoring, in
opposite to special products, uses different methods to get the factors of a
polynomial.

Instruction: Reflect on the activities you have done in this lesson by completing the following
statements.

Reflect on your participation in doing all the activities in this lesson and complete the
following statements:

I learned that I used different methods to get the products of the factors (special
products) and to get the factors of a polynomial (factoring).

I was surprised that I understood the concept that special products and factoring
are opposite to each other yet closely related.

I noticed that I multiplied the factors of a polynomial together to get its product
and used division and other useful operations, in opposite, to get its factors.

I discovered that I made the realization that getting the special products and
factors of a polynomial is very useful in the world of mathematics even in solving
real-life problems.

I was pleased that I was able to answer the problems/questions given by our
teacher based on the concepts he taught to us in related to the special products and
factoring.
