Project Abstract

MINERVA EDUCATION SYSTEM project of AAB The Need of Life is

seeking a grant to construct a one classroom for the underprivileged youth and
Two toilets for school childrens. In Minerva Education System, we are providing
free education in consist of six primary classrooms for over 485 underprivileged
children hailing from the poorest families who cannot afford to pay for quality
education and vocational training in other schools. The objective is to provide free
quality education that education is the foundation of development of any nation.
And there are many youth and children who want to join our school but we do not
have enough rooms to give them shelter.

In such background, Minerva education system, has been constructing better

school building with wider rooms than the local one that the Azeem Khan
Gabool Goth had - with larger windows and doors; and with comparative higher
walls to make the rooms bright, safe and eco-friendly as far as possible

Funding in the amount of Rs. 235,000/- is requested for the construction of the
one classroom and 2 Toilets for School children.

Project Description

The school project construction for the underprivileged students will compose of
two structures. One structure will be for the one classroom (21 X 31 ft.) for
underprivileged youths vocational training. The other structure will be for two
toilets (6 X 6 ft.) for students. This project will increase the underprivileged
students confidence in the continuation of their education.

Goals and objectives

The goal of constructing new classrooms for the underprivileged students of the
Rainbow Family and others is to enable them complete their primary education
and provide free vocational trainings to community youths.

The main objectives include:

1. Providing conducive learning environment free of cost.
2. Providing quality education that will prepare them for post secondary
education
3. Helping underprivileged children to achieve better improvements in their
lives to enable them contribute to the total development of their families
and the nation.

Outcome

The six classrooms, at present, are not enough for all children/classes. So, at
present they sit in the same overcrowded Classes. It seems like the children are
having fun but everyday inside in the same overcrowded classrooms to take
lessons from the teacher is unimaginable. And same as the students are
overloaded on one toilet. Therefore, we are constructing two new toilets for these
students.

When these new toilets and classrooms are constructed, the schools will have
rooms to invite more children to come to school. With clean, wide, light and
comfortable classrooms and with additional pedagogic materials (blocks, toys,
crayons learning sticks and shapes). The classrooms will be motivating more
children to come school. Certainly, school will be a Vocational Training Center for
the Azeem Khan Gabool Goth youth and Children.
