1. Title. Although all the movies were good, what I prefer most is the
movie entitled The doctor and Dead Poets Society.
2. Why do you prefer one over the other?
I prefer this movie since it depicts important traits needed in treating
patients as well as ideas on how to improve ones profession.
Responsibilities of medical practitioners were very much emphasized
as it relates to what is really happening today.
3. What important aspects of practitioner responsibility were
shown in the movie?
Medical practitioner plays a very important role in the society. They are
given licenses to help people in their medical needs. In the movie, the
doctor, Some important aspects of practitioner responsibility were
shown like increasing life expectancy of patients and improved well-being in
society, readily available in case of needed, sacrificing for the sake of the
patient, treating patients nicely and with considerations to their feelings.
4. What dilemma can you identify from the movie and why?
The problems with some medical practitioners were they are not caring
enough for their patients. Some medical practitioners work only for
money. They dont want to sacrifice. What medical practitioners need is
passion for their career.
5. What patient responsibilities are also emphasize?
Some patients complain a lot. Patients responsibility to fill up forms
well and complete is necessary for their medical background. These
can be used as reference in diagnosing their sickness.
6. What important learning have you derive from the movie?
There are many important learning that you can derive from the movie
like:
It is important to treat patients with care considering their feelings and
emotions.
Dont get angry easily when treating patients.
Relax even in emergency situations for better thinking and result.
Life in not only for work but most importantly for family.
Life is so short that you need to spend your life in meaningful and
happy ways.
