Title : Failure of Transmission of Wheel Loader L-26

Unit / Area of Incident: NP Plant PFL Contractor

Description / Details of Incident :

On 29-11-2016, abnormal noise was observed from forward gear of wheel loader WL-
02 TCM L-26 transmission.
on detailed checking, it was observed that broken bearing balls were present in its oil
console. So, it was decided
to completely dismantle the transmission to assess the damage.

Actions Taken ( If Any):

The loader was handed over to garage till complete overhauling of the gear box of
transmission.
