Level 3 team leader on shutdown project.
Corrosion under insulation (CUI)
My responsibilities included taking out permits and rigging up ropes for
a 3 man team. I also assisted in insulation removal and carried out UT
thickness checking and reporting.

Daily chores include the inspection of pad eyes on life boat davits and
crane pedestals by means of MPI. Also thickness checking lines and
values before and after blasting takes place. UT monitoring of flow lines
at height. Shear Wave scans of all structured welds on newly installed
pipework.

A part of a rope access squad chores included painting and blasting a
riser, the bridge between 2 jackets and cable pulling for the new hook
up. These jobs were out board and in board work.
