Once a nondescript residential street, Maginhawa Street is now a major


foodie destination for those in search of out-of-the-box culinary takes
that are budget-friendly. Whether looking for a quick fix or a satisfying
full course, youll never run out of choices here!

day it was held (October 11, 2014), with #qcfoodfestival2014 topping
worldwide and local trends.

[4] MORATO / TIMOG / BOY SCOUT FOOD STRIP

Also known as the scout area (where streets are named after World
Jamboree Filipino boy scouts), a huge concentration of restaurants and
watering holes that cater to those who love to dine first and drink after.
It is also the choice of haunt by television and movie celebrities from
networks ABS-CBN and GMA Network, as their studios are nearby.

A street known for its car repair and spare parts shops, Banawe has a
bevy of restaurants and cafs that has made it a famous pit stop for
foodie adventurers. While most restaurants offer Chinese/Asian cuisine
as fare, a growing number of restaurants offer Western and Filipino
food, as well.

LA LOMA
Just a stones throw away is one of the countrys lechon capitals, the La
Loma district. Home to some of the countrys known well known lechon
shops like Lydias, Ping Pings and Milas, a Lechon Festival is held
yearly on the month of May, and a parade of roasted pigs are paraded
in costumes.
