Beginning the Lesson
5 min Good morning student. Today we will talk about Nazareth.
Teacher will ask the students what Nazareth is. Explain that Nazareth is the name
of a city.
But, where is Nazareth?
Lets see in the map: teacher will show a map of Nazareth and explain them that it
is located in the lower galilee which a halfway of Sidon and Tyre. The meaning of
Nazareth is Branch town.
10 Developing the Lesson
min Why is Nazareth important? Ask students.
Teacher will explain them that Nazareth is not mentioned by name in
the Old Testament but it is important because it is a home town of our
Jesus Christ where He grew up.

Read John 1:46 with students (show bible verse in the projector):
explain students that every people in the Nazareth were looking for
true God and savior. Jesus came in Nazareth and served God. There
God by teaching people about God. There, God prepared Jesus to be

How is Jesus and Nazareth connected?


Read Jeremiah 23: 5-6 together with the students (show verse in the
slide): only our Jesus is the righteous Savior of this world.
Read John 15: 5 together with the students. Later, Teacher will draw a
picture of a big tree with branches on a white board and explain them
that Jesus is the Branch and we are the branches.

Review by asking following questions:
1. What is Nazareth and where is it?
2. Why is Nazareth important in the Bible?
3. How is Nazareth and Jesus connected?
