VERBOS
Los verbos son palabras que indican acciones, existencia (ser/estar),
posesin (tener) o nimo.

Hay tres verbos importantes en ingls que se pueden usar como verbos
principales o verbos auxiliares: to be, to have y to do. Dependiendo del
uso, el significado cambia pero la conjugacin es siempre la misma.

To do:
Este verbo significa hacer cuando lo usamos como verbo principal. No hay
una traduccin directa en espaol para este verbo cuando se usa como
verbo auxiliar. Este verbo auxiliar adems es necesario para construir las
frases negativas e interrogativas. Tambin se puede usar en frases
afirmativas para dar nfasis.

ADJETIVOS:
Un adjetivo es una palabra que acompaa y modifica al nombre. Puede
ampliar, complementar o cuantificar su tamao. Son palabras que nombran
o indican cualidades, rasgos y propiedades de los nombres o sustantivos a
los que acompaan.

2- Demonstrative (Demostrativos)

- one (uno),

El adjetivo casi siempre se sita antes del nombre, como hemos visto en el
principio de esta leccin. Aunque en algunos casos, dependen del verbo, y
entonces el adjetivo se sita detrs del verbo.
Estos verbos son:

- to feel (sentirse),
- to look (parecer),
- to seem (parecer),
- to smell (oler),
- to taste (gustar)

En general, los adjetivos no tienen una forma plural. Solo los adjetivos
demostrativos y cuantitativos tienen formas diferentes para el singular y el
plural:

much money (mucho dinero)
many books (muchos libros)

Las preposiciones son una de las partes del ingls que ms cuesta
aprender a los hablantes de lengua espaola porque la traduccin directa a
menudo es imposible. Las preposiciones pueden ser traducidas de manera
distinta segn la situacin o el contexto de su uso. Por ello es recomendable
memorizar las diferentes variaciones y usos dependiendo de si hablamos de
preposiciones de lugar, movimiento o tiempo. Veremos que muchas de las
preposiciones se repiten en los diferentes apartados.

She will see him at the theatre. (Le ver en el teatro.)
Her name is at the bottom of the page. (Su nombre est en la parte
inferior de la pgina.)
When did you arrive at the airport? (Cundo llegaste al aeropuerto?)

Ejemplos:
The pen is on the table. (El bolgrafo est sobre la mesa.)
They have a photograph of Paris on the wall. (Tienen una foto de
Pars en la pared.)
I am on the bus. (Estoy en el autobs.)
Her apartment is on the second floor. (Su piso est en la segunda
planta.)
Ejemplos:
They went to Mexico on the first of May. (Fueron a Mjico a
primeros de mayo.)
He runs on Mondays and Fridays. (l corre los lunes y los viernes.)

CONJUNCIONES:
Las conjunciones son empleadas para enlazar entre s las palabras y/o
oraciones. Hay dos tipos de conjunciones y la posicin que tiene dentro de
una oracin depende del tipo. Adems, hay tres formas de conjunciones.
Ejemplos:
She works at a bank and goes to university. (Trabaja en un banco y va a
la universidad.)
I like to swim in the ocean, but only if the water is warm. (Me gusta nadar
en el ocano, pero slo si el agua es caliente.)
We can study now or later. (Podemos estudiar ahora o ms tarde.)
Ejemplos:
She likes to sing and dance. (Le gusta cantar y bailar.)
I want to move to London so I am studying English. (Quiero mudarme a
Londres, por lo tanto estoy estudiando ingls.)
They are moving to Barcelona, however they really like Madrid. (Se
mudan a Barcelona sin embargo les gusta mucho Madrid.)
Ejemplos:
I have been working at the bank since 2005. (Llevo trabajando en el
banco desde 2005.)
She is studying English so that she can move to London. (Est
estudiando ingls para que pueda mudarse a Londres.)
They went to the beach although it was raining. (Fueron a la playa
aunque estaba lloviendo.)
Form (Forma)
Hay tres formas de conjunciones.
Artculo
Articles can be: Indefinite (or indeterminate) (a / an), and go before an
indeterminate noun of beings or things, or, can be defined (or determined)
(and), and go before a particular noun Or a determined one) of beings or
things.
(Los artculos pueden ser: Indefinidos (o indeterminados) (a / a), e ir antes
de un sustantivo indeterminado de seres o cosas, o, pueden ser definidos (o
determinados) (y), e ir antes de un sustantivo determinado O determinado)

THE INDEFINITE ARTICLE (EL ARTCULO INDEFINIDO)
SHAPE
A: one, one; An
As we see, both articles (a, an) have the same meaning, but one or the other
applies according to the case: If the article is followed by a word that begins
(its pronunciation), a vowel is used "an" instead of "a".
FORMA
a: un, una; an: un, una
(Como vemos, ambos artculos (a, an) tienen igual significado, pero, se
aplica uno u otro segn el caso. Si el artculo va seguido de una palabra que
comienza (su pronunciacin), por vocal se utiliza "an" en lugar de "a".)

In both English and Spanish the definite article is used to refer to a specific
object. The definite article is very simple, always used: "the".

INTERJECTIONS
They are words or expressions that are used spontaneously in the daily
conversations to show surprise or some emotion. Here are some of the most
important interjections.
o Wow: se usa para expresar sorpresa. Es similar a la expresin en
espaol: guau
-Wow! I love your new house (Guau! Me encanta tu nueva casa)
o Yuck: se usa para indicar disgusto. Es parecida a la expresin de
amrica latina gucala o al vocablo Qu asco!
-Yuck! The apple is rotten. (Qu asco! La manzana est podrida)
-Ouch! I hit my finger with the sledgehammer. (ay! Me golpe mi dedo con
el mazo/almdena/martillo)
- Ouch! That hurts a lot! ("Ay! Eso duele mucho!)
