I am an energetic, enthusiastic and flexible professional with extensive experience in web,


social media, community work, arts and culture, office administration, and IT support.

SKILLS:

Office Administration:
I am a capable office administrator with experience supporting up to thirty staff including
reception work, diaries and appointments, mail, IT support, network administration, Microsoft
Office including Excel and Access and other database and telephony systems.

Social Media and Web Development:


I am a freelance social media, web and copywriting consultant and have experience with a
range of platforms and tools including Wordpress, Drupal, Wix, Mailchimp, Surveymonkey,
HTML, database systems and social media management systems like Hootsuite and others.

I.T Support:
I have experience providing front line IT support to busy offices, individuals and events. I can
troubleshoot Microsoft Office, wifi and other networks, and web and social media systems.

Counselling:
I have provided crisis counselling and short term counselling to clients in a range of areas from
housing, mental health, and drug and alcohol.

Team Leadership:
I led teams in the delivery of commercial web software in the late 90s and early 2000s.

Copywriting and Editing:


I run my own business as a writer and am available for copywriting, proofreading, editing, social
media content, print media content, grants, proposals, and business plans.
RECENT EMPLOYMENT HISTORY:

2017 - Ongoing
Education Access Worker, Swinburne University.
I work part time as a note taker for students of Swinburne University using the Education Access
Program. The role involves typing real time lecture notes for students in class.

2015 - Ongoing
Freelance social media, web development, copywriting, editing and proofreading.
I run a freelance consulting service to deliver copy, social media, web integration, technical
support and other services to clients in the arts, culture and community sectors.

2015
Social Media Manager, Found Festival.
I sourced images and content for social media for Found in the months leading up to Found
Festival. Liaising with the founder, researching female presenting artists and managing
Facebook and other social media platforms.

2015 - 2017
Intake Clinician, Unitingcare Regen.
I provided face to face, telephone and online support for drug and alcohol users seeking
treatment. I managed calendars for a large team of counsellors. I developed office procedures
and data collection processes. I made use of custom built records software, telephony systems,
Excel and other office software. I responded to social media enquiries.

I provided counselling and support to young people in residential treatment for mental ill health.

As a housing support worker at Homeground I provided advocacy and outreach case
management for clients who were at risk of losing their public housing.

At the Centre for Multicultural Youth I worked as the administration officer supporting a staff of
30 in a large set of CaLD programs. I provided IT support, reception and general admin.
