CLIFFWOODS 4th Annual DANCE-A-THON

Over $1,600 in prizes to be won!!!

Our goal is to raise over $7,500
What is it?

Its an all day event where students go to the gym with their classes
for 30-40 minutes and dance to music played by a professional DJ.

What will the funds be used for?

To buy an outdoor storage bunker, bicycle racks and outdoor education equipment to enhance our
children's education.

How does it work?

i) Students collect pledges from family and friends (not strangers)

ii)They record their pledges onto the pledge envelope

iii)Return pledge envelopes to your home room teacher no later than Tuesday, March 7th including
cash and or cheques made payable to Cliffwood School Council.

IMPORTANT: Donations of $25 or more will receive a tax receipt if complete address is included.

Prizes to be Won

All students will receive a glow bracelet and refreshments

Spot prizes will be awarded during the Dance-A-Thon

The top 2 fundraising classes (one primary and one junior) will receive a pizza lunch for the entire
class (based on an average per student calculation)

The Class with the highest participation rate will receive a pizza lunch for the entire class (in the
event of a tie the class with the highest participation rate and dollar average per student will be the
winner)

Draw Prizes students will receive one draw ticket for every $10 raised.

Top Individual Fundraiser Prizes will be awarded to the student who raises the most funds in the
following grade categories: i) kindergarten, ii) grades 1-3,
iii) grades 4-6 and to the top 10 students who raise the most funds (excluding the winners in the
above grade categories)
