GUIDE TO BIBLE STUDY

Text Read the text several times. Define the literary genre. Write down everythi
ng. Observe names of places and people. Who? For whom? When? Where? What? and Wh
y? Write down everything. Note any strange word or do not know how to explain. C
heck the agreement many times the word appears in the book, Testament, etc.. Wri
te down everything. Write down every idea that gives the text. Read other versio
ns for comparison. Write down the ideas so far. At the end use other books to co
mpare with the comments her study. Type the text in their own words. Review the

lical hermeneutics.

The translations are not original texts. We need to check them forever. Words ha
ve life. Do not jump to conclusions. Look familiar with the author and what prom

sulted at the end of the study staff. The Bible is always the best interpreter o
f itself. Use constantly concordance. In paraphrase remember that a good lesson
