Upgrade to 12V Lamp for AutoHumalyzer 900S and 900S Plus

In order to increase the quality of our supplies, we will make the same Photometer
Lamp 12V 20W, cat. no.: 17920/32, available for HumaStar 300, AutoHumalyzer A5,
AutoHumalyzer 900S and AutoHumalyzer 900S Plus

At the same time we introduce a special quality control check on the Photometer
Lamp cat. no.: 17920/32. This lamp will be visually checked and preselected at
Human.

The photometer lamp cat no.: 17820/32 will be no longer available from 2011 on.

To use the lamp cat. no. 17920/32 in the instruments AutoHumalyzer 900S and
AutoHumalyzer 900S Plus proceed as below:

1. Do not connect the lamp to the photometer interface board until the voltage is
correctly adjusted.
The voltage may increase suddenly to 18 20 V during adjustment and
damage the new lamp if already connected.

2. Adjust the lamp voltage to 10.7 V using potentiometer PR11 on the power
supply board. Measure the voltage between the testpoints TP6 & TP7 located
on the photometer interface board.

3. Connect the lamp and adjust following the instructions in the Service Manual.

4. If required adjust the potentiometer PR5 located at the ADC/DMA board to

reach the required range of 100 to 400 mAbs per filters.. It might be necessary
to equalize the different filter readings using the neutral density disks, cat.-no.
