Definition

Deaf - Lacking the power of hearing or having impaired hearing


Types of deafness

Conductive deafness- occurs


when the pathway of
hearing is blocked in some
kind of way, no connection
between the bones in the ear
to transmit sound waves

Nerve Deafness - damage


caused to the nerve; a problem
in the brain which typically
does not respond to treatment
