ABSTRACT

The project entitled as Beyond Output Voting Detecting Compromised Replicas

is to design and develop the application package for well secured dynamic
application. This package is originated using front end as Java with MYSQL
Server.

This project aims to investigate Implementing Security and Authentication as

Aspects within the frame work of an online Voting system. In this project presents
two components mainly Administration Management and User Management.
Access can be restricted to only those operates and perspectives that Administrator.
They exclusively update the details of nominees and the voters. End User has
manifested by administrators with the ability to identify and control the state of
users logged into the application.

Project provides profile register in this user has to register their profile with their
full details which has full control for voting system from the application. The
nominee profile is all the details of nominees are updated to help the voter to select
the member during election time. The initial focus of the project will be into
research of current methods with the emphasis being placed on their practical
application and methods for their implementation using Aspect.

The second phase of the project is the actual implantations of the knowledge
gained in faze one to create a secure online voting system. Initially this system will
simply be a shell that allows for the vote to be cast, transmitted and counted in a
secure fashion.

This complete the system can be improved to cope with a selection of the many
forms of voting, full and Proportional representation, Instant runoff, Choice,
Cumulative and limited voting. This however is a tertiary aim and although not
vital to the main project takes the finished system from being simply being
demonstrational to fully functional and so usable in real world examples.
1.3 Module Description

The Project has the following main modules, they are

4. Vote Processing

1. Administration Management:

Administrator owns the overall determination of controls, setting of major

objectives, and the identification of general purposes, guidance, leadership &
control of the efforts of the groups towards some common goals. Admin has the
privileges to update the nominees details like nominee code number, symbol, and
place information. Admin also have the rights to restricts the users and give the
access justices to the user to register their details to vote.

1. User Management:

User Module states the person should register their entropy like voters photo,
name, and gender, date of birth and finger print for login information. To get the
knowledge of domain user should cast their votes. No need have gone outside of
place. Access can be restricted to only those functions and views that administrator.
User Management is a substantiation feature that provides administrators with the
ability to identify and control the state of users logged into the network. This
includes, but is not limited to, the ability to query and filter users that are currently
logged into the network, manually log out users, and control user login counts and
login times

2. Profile Register: This module separated into 2 divisions , they

are

Voters profile: This is very important source to the election. The administrator
stores the necessary details, the voters photo, gender, address, date of birth, name,
finger print etc. for every voter record contains identification number, which has
full control of voting system from the applications. The voter can modify their
address and other details through administrator.

4. Vote Processing:

This is the most important module in this project. This module has one
dynamic supervisor: the necessary process during election time avoids cheating,
so need to provide more security. When voter wants to register their vote via this
 website, they have to use their election identity number and password as their
identification. The module verifies the following.

1) Register their profile or not

2) New voter or not
