Mitosis

This world we know,

Deep in our being,
Forever they're needed
Cells that are breeding.

They begin the cycle,

They grow and move on.
Before Mitosis, for hours and days
This is what we call the cell interphase.

Before the last stage,

Our story takes place
I create this vision
To teach cell division.

First stage of Mitosis

Prophase! Take notice.
Out of no where
Things 1 and 2 appear.

Found in the cell's nucleus,

These aren't just a thing of some
These are, what we call,
A cells chromosomes.

Chromosome deeper
We find its best feature
The fortune spiral ladder
But we'll save that for later.

Pro-metaphase hug
Microtubules take apart
Metaphase aligns,
The Chromosomes in a line.

Anaphase separates
To form a new state.
Next is telophase - the surrounding membrane
To form two daughters - both one and the same.

The cell then splits, it's called Cytokinesis

The whole process, its a proven thesis.
If its deemed pure, it belongs to G-zero
There it remains, as the bodys true hero.

This is called Mitosis... I hope you all paid notice.
