The Effect Of Workspace Arrangement In Providing Amenity And Effectiveness

Planning And Development, Palembang Highway Operation Work Unit.

Under the guidance of Mrs. Sri Porwani, S.E., M.Si and Mr. Yustin Kurniawan Z,
S.E., MM from Ministry of Public Works and Housing, Directorate General of
Spatial Planning and Development, Palembang Highway Operation Work Unit as
the inner city road and bridge wOrk unit. Besides conducting research, the writer
also states the prOblems investigated, that is the workspace arrangement in which
there is a lack in case of the archives drawer resulting in unarrangeD workspace.
In this field report, the writer applied the interview, observation and library
research as the data collection method whiLe qualitative research used as the
research method. Based on the research and discussion done earlier, the writer
conclUded that the workspace arrangement in the office of Ministry of Public
Works and Housing, Directorate General of Spatial Planning and Development,
Palembang Highway Operation Work Unit, Considered to be lack of arrangement,
which was affecting the employees performance in those rooms. Infact, it is
possible that it can evoKe some obstacles in working process that can affecting
the working efficiency. Therefore, the writer tries to give suggestion that in order
to restore the effectiveness and efficiency in the workspace, it is a necessary that
the workspace should be rearranged based on the job sequence to make the
working situation goes well with the applied plan.!!!!!!!!
