Keyboards
- Make sure to let students know they have the **option** to use an external keyboard for testing.
- Please submit your schools plan for using keyboards for testing by Friday, February 24, 2017.

Asset Tag Labels & Serial Number Discrepancies

- Tech office iPads have been reviewed and all known issues will be corrected by February 15th.
- Please have all known iPad issues corrected no later Friday, February 24, 2017.
- Let Kate know if you have ipad asset tag issues since she will be at the BOE on February 14th.

Lost or stolen (recap) - if student has insurance then it covers theft IF reported within 5 days per BOE policy. If no
insurance OR not reported within 5 days put in the fine.

TESTING - We should just be around for basic troubleshooting and there is an app that will be loaded. The kids
will need to install from LandRev. The app is there now and is called DRC Insight. Must be at iOS 10 or higher.
Media Specialist will help with testing in the ways that they normally help, i.e., network connection, lanrev
connectivity, etc. Techs will also be in the building on testing dates to be the major source of troubleshooting.

5th and 8th grade library books (recap)- same as usual - waive library fines for 5th and 8th. Send a list to the
schools that have not taken fines out.

Local-Building level media festival judging should be complete by February 24th.
System-LCSS System media festival judging will be at the PAC on March 24th.

Preparation for hosting GSMF-Please plan to give two to three hours of your time during the week
of April 10-14th to assist at the BOE with media festival packets. Media Specialists should plan
on being judges as well or getting teacher volunteers. More information from Gordon will detail
job roles for the state festival. Connie Bragg at LCCA might be a point of contact for high school
student volunteers. If someone is interested please add directions from Atlanta to the PAC to our
planning document.

Our April District Media Meeting will take place April 12th at the BOE in order to provide us
time to connect about all things media, as well as to work on GSMF hosting preparations
