For installing the license:

1. Open the Symantec system control center (on the PC where Symantec
antivirus server is loaded).
2. Right click on the PC name, which is showing License not found.
3. Select All Tasks Symantec License Management Install License
4. After selecting the Install License it will open a dialog box, Click on the
browse button. It will ask for the license file having SLF as the file
extension. This file must be on the desktop on the Antivirus server
machine(ENGSTN2/otherwise search for that file on that machine).
5. Select that file and click on Install.
6. Wait for 5 Minutes its status will be updated.
7. If after doing above settings also this doesnt work, the check whether the
machine is in network or the network cards are fine.

updates free of cost:
Open the url
http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/rapidrelease.download.html
Select the download for Symantec Corporate Edition Server 10.1/10.2/10.3
and download that file.
Pls note that the downloaded file will a Zip file. You have to rename that
file to .XDB instead of .ZIP after download.
After doing that copy and paste that .XDB in Antivirus server Machine only
in the location C:\Program files\SAV\
Server will automatically distribute the updates to the client machine.
