- Can you describe Princess X to me?

Think of all the princesses you know, is she like any ordinary princess?

End of shared reading, bring up image from p. 5 with annotations (by


teacher; must be done before lesson) (Appendix 2.) on the smartboard
with the Paint software (use an A3 printout if smartboard is not
available)
Point out the annotations around the image.

mins Now its your turn. I would like you to create a character! Please think
about what you want them to be: an alien, a king, a soldier, a turtle
Dont forget to annotate your image (put adjectives around it to describe
your image)
- Get a few people to give example of what they want to create
- Give specific instructions;
(When you return to your seats) Please get out your pencils,
erasers, colour pencils and wait patiently for your paper
- Ask them to return to their seats if they were on the mat area.
Go around and assist those who needs it.
