Conflict Kashmir

India is one of the biggest country in the world with 350 million people at that time. Many

people create variety of religion. India is a home for two big religious groups between Muslim and

Hindus. One quarter of the population was revering in Muslim, but over two quarter of population

were revering in Hindus. Result of that is the conflict between both two groups. At that time, Indian

people were receiving the independent from British. But most people in India were Hindu. That

make the Muslim people furious about it, because they have less number of votes, and they

pressure the British to divide the country.

Initially, the conflict between India and British. India ask for the promise of British, they will

set independent for India after India join the world war I. But, British ignore the promise, this make

Indian people become very angry. Gandhi use non-violence way to fight British back for freedom,

he gather people to collect the salt from the sea, and ignore to buy salt from British, and not buying

other goods from British. The result of this directly affect the business of British.

Secondly, India have a large two group of religious that create conflict for a long time.

Hindu,Sikh and Muslim each of them have a thought that they couldnt get a long in a partition time.

City that have mostly population revering muslim will give to Pakistan. On the other hand, city that

contain mostly Hindu and Sikh will belong to India. Each religious group have to escape through

their own country, but during the movement time both of group have a fight together. According to

the video, the big event that happen is; Muslim that try to escape to Pakistan were all get kill by
Sikh and sent back to Pakistan by the train. The event cause Muslim become very angry and

started to kill Sikh and Hindu.

Thirdly, argument between India and Pakistan over Kashmir occur for a long time. This

occur because British didnt divide Kashmir completely, British give some part of Kashmir to

Pakistan and the most part to India. In Kashmir mostly of the population is a Muslim but the city

was belong to the Prince of India. However, Kashmir is the important place for Muslim in term of

historical and belief. This conflict have continue to now a day, many people have sacrifice their life

to this country.

In the conclusion, the conflict that have occur between this two religions happen because of

a different their attitude toward religion. They try to compete over Kashmir and this problem would

last of a long time that would create problem for the next generation afterward.
