"Prince August was founded in Sweden in 1958 by Jan Edman,

producing a range of moulds for hobby casting. The first
moulds were produced of plaster of paris, we now use rubber
moulds giving superior quality and definition.
In 1976 the mould production moved to Ireland and today
the whole operation is run from our premises situated in
the heat of the Muskerry Gaeltacht, in the village of
Kilnamartyra. It is the perfect environment for our
creative work of designing and manufacturing miniature
figures. Prince August products are today sold in 24 countries.
Prince August have been producing Toy Soldiers in Ireland
for over 20 years and are the worlds largest suppliers of
casting moulds."
