Introduction:

Management today is more of an art than a science. This course reviews the
environmental context within which the engineering manager operates and the
functions and roles of the engineering manager as they relate to the unique
characteristics of technical functions.

Course Objectives:

- Understanding of project management principle.

- To be able to plan a schedule for any construction project using Microsoft
project.
- To be able to analyze and solve problems in construction projects.
- Learning the methods of engineering economic analysis (present worth, rate of
return, annual cash flow, and benefit-cost ratio.)
- Understanding the concept of depreciation.
