Mindy Kaling and Cory Booker
set up a date on Twitter after her
character dissed Newark on an
episode of The Mindy Project.
The New Jersey senator and for-
mer mayor of Newark got wind of
Mindys joke on her show and
tweeted her Friday.
Ouch! @MindyKaling, heard
Dr. Lahiri dissed Newark last night
. . . @VogueMagazine & I dis-
agree, he wrote, but added, (I
still [heart] U!).
Mindy crafted the perfect re-
sponse. Senator, if Mindy Lahiri
shades it, it means we know its
cool. Thanks for the [heart]. Its mu-
tual! she tweeted back.
Booker sweetly asked Kaling out
to dinner. You are making my day!
Thanks for the clarification. And If
the [heart] is really mutual . . .
Come have dinner with me in
Newark? #PleaseSayYes.
Kaling joked that she was on her
way. Yes. Now let me get the PATH
train schedule.
Booker replied to Kaling saying
she would not have to take the train.

Antonio Banderas says he suffered heart attack in January

some stage of production
on a half-dozen movies, An-
tonio Banderas said at a
film-festival news confer-
ence on Saturday that he
had suffered a heart attack
in January.
I put a major punch to
the potato in the last 37
years, he said jokingly at
the 20th annual Mlaga
Film Festival in his home-
town in Spain, according
to the newspaper El Pas.

was addicted to work, the
56-year-old star of films in-
cluding The Mask of
Zorro, Spy Kids and the chest pains Jan. 26

in recovery period, he said,

reported that Ban-
deras had suffered
and was taken to St.
Peters Hospital in
Chertsey, Surrey, Eng-
land, near his home in
the village of Cobham,
17 miles southwest of
London. But he gave no
details at the time, and on
Jan. 30 posted an Insta-
gram image of himself and
his girlfriend, Nicole Kem-
pel.
Not long before the festi-
val, Banderas went to the
Clinique Genolier, in Geneva,
for a medical checkup, El Pas
said.
