Another Hit and Run Accident

ULU TIRAM, (Wed.): Another senseless hit and run has happened here along Jalan Barat in the small
town of Ulu Tiram. This time, the accident involved a schoolboy. He was knocked by a motorcycle as he
was trying to across the road at the pedestrian crossing. The pedestrian crossing is used by many pupils
from primary school nearby to get to the other side of the road where there is a bus stop.
The motorcyclist lost control of his motorcycle as he was riding at a high speed. Seeing the boy
bleeding an unconscious, he fled from the scene. The boy suffered from head injuries and a fractured leg.
The impact left the boy unconscious and many people gathered around to help the boy. A man with a
smartphone called for an ambulance and the boy was rushed to a hospital nearby.
The boy is sad to be in critical condition. The police have asked eyewitnesses who can help to
track the motorcyclist down to come forward. The ASP of Ulu Tiram said that such senseless accidents
have to be stopped.
