Reflection 4

Part 3:

1. What I want people to think about me as a student is that I have grown since
when I started puente, my Writing has become more organized. It has become easier for
me to connect ideas now and I'm more self-aware of my strength and weakness. Also as
a student I have learn to seek out help and use my resources that are available.

2. The way I want people to see my educational journey would not easy , I had my
bumps on the road, always was categorized as a smart student but to rebellious, I have
been out of differents school but in each I stood out, I have grown mature over the years
now i'm more aware of the importance of having dedication to your educational journey.

3. I joined puente because I knew it would be great opportunity for myself to growth
as a student in college , Also I often seek out challenge , when i'm not challenge I tend to
Lose focus and I often fail when im not been challenge I tend to lose interest really quick.
When Im offer opportunities like this ones I tend to not let them pass because I know
every opportunity that I'm giving is a chance for improvement.

4. My basic beliefs and value about life and my educational journey would be that
we all have the tools to craft our own destiny, I believe the human brain is more powerful
than we all might think because your mind is the key for your success we often ask the
questions of how to be successful the truth is that there is no an universal answer we
all have our key for success we just have to craft our key which is our mind.

5. As I see it today , the ability to read awoke inside me some long dormant craving
to be mentally alive ~Malcolm X . The reason I pick that quote because it represents
what puente has done for me , it made me realize the world is full of opportunities
waiting to be taken advantage of.

Pathos-

1. Aside from the class instructor , I want my fellow students to take time and reflect
on how some similar many of our stories are to each other , also I would like to reach out
to future Puente students that dont know what to expect I want to let them know how
much my educational path change thanks to puente and how can theirs change too.
Logos-
 1. I want the audience to understand the necessity to honor your struggle as a
student of color, its not easy been first generation college student, but using your
resources to break th barriers is the only way to go , if not then a generation of
non-college graduates will continue in your family , I want them to understand the
power they have in their hands to change a whole community.
