 Summer School & Study Abroad
I know, I know, the last thing you may
want to do during your precious sum-
mer time is go to school, but it could
actually be good for you and if you go
study abroad, it can also be a lot of fun!
Summer school is usually something
between six or eight-week sessions and
it may vary in difficulty depending on
the type of course you want to take.
This can be a really good option if you
need to retake a class in which you
failed. But summer school is also a
good opportunity for you to get ahead
with your classes. If you want to gradu-
ate early, summer school can certainly
help you with that. However, you need
to consider that not every single class
you need and want to take to graduate
early will be available for you during a
summer session. Schools, like ASU, just
offer certain types of in-person and
online courses during summer. If you
are thinking about doing summer

Just in case youre unsure of what is the
difference between these two terms,
lets start by pointing out some differ-
ences between an internship and a part
-time or full-time job.
First thing you need to know is that an
internship can be paid or unpaid, they
can be for (school) credit or not, and
most important of all: an internship
includes a specific learning objective. It
can be a skill, further understanding of
something, or /and to gain knowledge.

You only need to plan carefully and
those four or five weeks will be great!

Also, if youre thinking about getting an
internship, it can also help you in your
future because of the experience it
provides you. There are students who
graduate from college/university and
lack of enough experience in their field
to get a full time permanent job so an
internship is a really good choice for
you to experience during summer!
Whichever you decide to do,
always try to do those things
with those with whom you
enjoy spending time with and
youll have some really amazing
new memories to tell after
summer. Just relax, be careful,
and enjoy the time with your
family!

What to do in your free time?
We all can agree that even if
you study, travel, or get a
job or an internship, you will
still have some left time dur-
ing your day. You may want
to take that time to get
some rest or do your
homework if you decided to
take some classes during
summer, but there is always
a moment in which you will
fall to your temptation and
decide to spend even three
or more hours straight on
your social networks. Well,

you may want to get started in
a new area such as music. You
can learn how to play an in-
strument! It can be fun and
