I am delighted to write this letter of recommendation for Hannah Fogarty. Hannah is a senior in
our undergraduate nursing program.
As the simulation coordinator I facilitate simulations for three (3) medical-surgical nursing
courses. I also facilitate in hospital clinical rotations; therefore, I have seen Hannah in action
in a variety of settings over the course of her time here at the university. She has well developed
time management and delegation abilities. Her hands on nursing skills are superb and her ease
with handling patient and/or family communication issues is commendable.
Hannah serves as the historian for the Student Nurses Association (SNA) for which I am the
faculty adviser. I have found Hannah to be very hardworking and dedicated. She is eager to gain
whatever practical experience she possibly can. She demonstrates clear leadership abilities not
only in a practical sense, but also organizational. Hannah is a naturally compassionate and caring
person, she is also highly dependable as she is very involved and always carries through with her
SNA responsibilities.
Hannahs dedication and commitment to the nursing profession, demonstrated leadership
abilities, academic success, and overall involvement in student activities make her an excellent
candidate for any nursing position. I strongly believe that she will make lasting contributions to
