Tara has been appointed to work with Sally on a project where she has to study

__________ and suggest ways to help make the project a success. One morning she
comes across a potential idea and wants to share it with Sally, so she knocks softly
on her office door, waits for a reply, then gently opens the door and asks, Do you
have a few minutes for what I have to say? Sally, without looking up from her work,
gestures her to come in.
Tara walks up to her desk and waits for a few seconds until Sally looks up. Yes
Tara? Um, how was your meeting with the Head of the Finance Team? Did it go
well? asked Tara eagerly. Yeah, it was fine, was Sallys short reply. Did you get
through all the points on the agenda? enquired Tara. Yes, Tara. Im going to tell
you all about it in our meeting tomorrow. What is it you wanted to say? Sally

Sally was apparently having trouble following her argument. Her eyebrows were
slightly raised and she seemed like she wanted to say something. Finally, she said,
Im not sure I follow. Who will achieve what? What are the steps involved here?
Tara was all too eager to add further detail: Trust me Sally! I feel the Delta Co.
team can prove to be a great resource. Our success would motivate others to
Here Sally visibly lost her temper. Tara! Come back to me when you have more
structure in your suggestion. Here you are telling me why we should do what you
feel we should do. Cant you just be brief and list out some action points for us?
