SET
Power to the unit is controlled via an on/off switch located to the right of the
controller.
This is not an integral part. The unit only becomes live once power is supplied
through this switch.
The unit will not register until the system is full of water and pressure is sensed at
the transducer.
This unit must not be used to fill a system; it is only intended to perform
top-up operations.
If the system has no pressure the unit will give the reading Err1 and sound an
audible alarm. This prevents the unit being used to fill the system. Once the
system is filled and a pressure applied to the unit, parameter set-up can take
place
Hi/lo water detection with alarm and auto reset. No volt free out
Hi pressure alarm with volt free
lo pressure alarm with volt free
Pump trip volt free x 2
Hi and lo alarm set points with auto reset.
All volt free outputs can also be powered with a rating up to 8 amps for warning
lamps or alarms.
Technical Specification:
Power Supply: AC 12v +/- 10% 50/60 Hz
Pressure Sensor: 0-10 Bar 0-5v
Range of Measurements: 0-9.9 Bar
Alarm Outputs: All normally open, AC250v 8A
Boiler Interlock: Normally Closed, AC 250v 8A
Audible Alarm: Internal Buzzer
Material Of Manufacture: ABS
To enter the programme and to set the unit up a password needs to be entered.
Press + & - keys simultaneously and hold for 2 seconds. Then release.
Then enter the code 2601 using the + & - minus keys again.
+ to count up, - to count down. To index to the next digit press the Set key.
'P1' appears followed by a number. This is the number of times pump 1 has run /
charged the system. The display can show 9999 recorded pump runs.
'P2' appears followed by a number. This is the number of times pump 2 has run /
charged the system. The display can show 9999 recorded pump runs.
The figures for pump 1 and pump 2 will normally differ by 1 digit only, unless the
system power has been lost. In this instance the system will reset and pump 1
will operate first as required.
'AL' appears followed by a number, this shows the number of recorded alarms.
The display can show 9999 recorded alarms.
'Lpo' appears followed by a number, this shows the number of recorded power
interruptions. The display can show 9999 recorded interruptions.
'P' appears followed by a number, this shows the fill pressure. By using +/- keys
the correct pressure can be entered. (Typical 1.0 Bar). Press and hold P.1
Override button to manually test pump 1 only.
By pressing the Set key it accepts the set pressure and indexes to the next
programme item;
'L' appears followed by a number, this shows the low pressure alarm. By using
+/- keys the correct pressure can be entered. (Typical 0.5 Bar). By pressing the
Set key it accepts the low pressure alarm setting and indexes to the next
programme item;
'd' appears followed by a number, this shows the pump on/off differential. By
using +/- keys the correct differential can be entered. (Typical 0.2 Bar).
This feature ensures that the set pressure must drop by the differential value
before the pump will activate. By pressing the Set key it accepts the setting and
indexes to the next programme item;
'dELP' appears followed by a number, this shows the maximum pump run time
(Flood protection). By using +/- keys the correct pressure can be entered.
(Typical 10 minutes). By pressing the Set key it accepts the time setting and
indexes out of the programme options
The system is now configured and ready to run, the display will show the system
pressure.
This valve acts as a system isolation valve, pressurisation unit drain valve and
transducer connection point (Where fitted).
To open remove the key, exposing the isolation valve spindle, open the valve
(anticlockwise rotation) and replace cover (key).
