in Dublin 2, Remedy Clinic provides a quality space for professional psychotherapy clinicians
and wellness consultants to practice from. Designed with our clients in mind, the space caters
for multi-disciplinary psychotherapy & counselling, Mindfulness, Stress Response Education,
Group and Psycho-Educative Workshops and EAP delivery.

Only 50m from the Pearse street DART station entrance, and with major transport link
connectivity, the clinic is conveniently located and easily accessible for clients throughout Dublin
and surrounding areas. The centre offers a quality environment for delivery of professional
services from the area, in a setting that is modern, familiar and comfortable. Our professionals
are here to help individuals, couples and families work towards happier, healthier and more

Company Mission Statement

In an era of emerging mental health awareness and promotion, there is an increasing
acceptance and appreciation for professional talking therapy intervention and practices that
consider the mind-body-wellness relationship. Remedy Clinic houses highly qualified counselling
and psychotherapy practitioners and wellness consultants.

Our key emphasis in the clinic is the provision of a high standard of confidential and professional
therapeutic intervention. Remedy Clinic also places an emphasis on the importance of

Director Profile - Richard McDonagh
Remedy Clinic was established by Richard
McDonagh. Richard is a Hons. Counselling
& Psychotherapy graduate, and a Business
graduate, and has qualifications in Psychology
and Health, Fitness and Sports Nutrition.
Richard is the co-founder of the SDR Group
property development company, and founder of
Remedy Care, a development company focused
on the delivery of residential care facilities for
the elderly in the greater Dublin area. Richards
focus is on high calibre and bespoke care.
At the centre of Richards ethos in care delivery is
the quality of professional contact, and the quality
of the care environment and setting. Having
extensive knowledge of the psychological and
physical impacts of traumas, stresses and life
events that individuals experience, Richard
understands that quality counselling and
psychotherapeutic intervention in a holding and
comforting environment are powerful, effective
and restorative elements of crises resolution
and rehabilitation. He created Remedy Clinic
to address the need for a curative environment
that clients deserve.

Associate Directors Profile - Eugene OReilly
Eugene OReilly is a professionally qualified
Counsellor & Psychotherapist with a BA Honours
Degree from Dublin Business School. He also
holds a BEng. in Civil Engineering and quickly
proceeded to work in large scale construction
and Civil projects in a managerial capacity,
ensuring tight budgets and deadlines were
adhered to. Passionate about sport and outdoor
physical pursuits he understands the importance
of the mind-body-wellness relationship.
Eugene always had a fascination with how
people behave, act and react to the world around
them. He saw first-hand how easy it is to become
stressed in demanding work environments.
These were key factors that encouraged
Eugene to retrain as a professional counsellor
and Psychotherapist. Eugene understands what
it takes for psychotherapeutic process work to
happen and is passionate about quality clinical
care, and about his clients journey to wellbeing.
Participating in the personal growth of others and
the ability to help clients achieve actualisation is
the greatest reward he has found that comes
with working in this field.

Counselling & Psychotherapy practitioners at Remedy Clinic have achieved a QQI Lv. 8 or QQI Lv. 9 qualification that is
recognized by one of the notable Irish Psychotherapy accrediting bodies. These bodies include the IACP, or the Irish Association
for Counselling & Psychotherapy and IAHIP, or the Irish Association of Humanistic and Integrative Psychotherapy, among others.
This is in line with CORUs consultation on the regulation of the landscape of the profession.All practitioners are trained in
Family Systemic Therapy, Addiction Counselling, Stress Response and Management and Suicide and Crisis Intervention.

Psychology practitioners are QQI Lv. 9 and registered with the PSI. (Psychological Society Ireland)
