Ryes Classroom
February

Assignment Information
American Literature: Over the course of this month,
we will be working on The Crucible. We will have
many assignments over this topic. We will have
questions over each act in the play that you will
need to complete the next day after reading. We
will also have group work after each act. We will
have 2 projects, a quiz, and a test over the play.
We will work on this for the whole month of
February.
American Literature ILT: Because the End-of-Course
test for American Literature and Composition relies
on skill, not content, my ILT course essentially
functions as a second literature and composition
class for my students. In the class, we read a variety
of texts and work on skills such as identifying theme
and main idea, writing, and identifying
characterization. I also place a bit of a larger
emphasis on language and grammar
