Tommy has over 17 years of experience in actuarial

and finance industry. Before he settles down in
Thailand and led the actuarial function as a director
in his company, he had worked in Hong Kong for 6
years as a regional manager in one of the biggest
insurance company of Asia-Pacific region.

His scope of responsibility was to manage his company

portfolio of 750 billion baht and total income of
over than 100 billion baht a year.

Tommy has profound practical experience and

specialization in numerous actuarial aspects. These
include:

Valuation of insurance and retirement benefit

Product development and experience studies
Reinsurance
Risk management
Investment strategies
Capital management
Business strategies and implementation
Financial modeling and projection
Appraisal value and M&A process

He has been a lecturer for leading organizations

including Chulalongkorn University, National
Institute of Development Administration (NIDA),
Thammasat University, Office of Insurance
Commissioner (OIC), Thailand Securities Institute
(TSI) and Investment Analysts Association (IAA),
which covers actuarial topics such as risk
management, investment, appraisal value, actuarial
valuation, pension cost accounting valuation (IAS19),
and actuarial science.

He received a Bachelor degree of Engineering in

Industrial Engineering from Chulalongkorn
University and a Master degree of Science in
Financial Engineering together with a Master of
Business Administration from City University of
Hong Kong.

He is qualified as fellow of actuarial

qualification from USA, UK, and Thailand which are
Fellow of Society of Actuaries (FSA) in 2005 and a
Fellow of the Society of Actuaries of Thailand
(FSAT) in 2006 and Fellow of the Institute of
Actuaries (FIA) in 2008. He is a member of Global
Association of Risk Professionals with Financial
Risk Manger (FRM) designation and also passed
Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) level 2.

He also obtained the Young ASEAN Manager Award

(YAMA) 2012 which is the international recognition
for his achievement in the ASEAN insurance
industry. Recently, he won National Statistician
Award 2016 from Thai Statistical Association.
