the less content of alkaloids. The method used is photochemical screening method by collecting
different types of plants, and then drying the sample, followed by simple extraction with the
addition of ammoniacal chloroform. Solvent extraction method is used by using the highest
content alkaloid substance which is pulverized to fine powder and added in polar organic solvent
which is kept stopper for a minimum 3 days. It is filtered and allowed to evaporate followed by
the weighing step. Hence, acid-base extraction is carried out by aqueous extraction, then de-fat,
basification and evaporation. By this we conclude theres different level of alkaloid content in
various types of plants. Hence, pursuing in this experiment, plant has most alkaloid content.
