Activity The teacher will begin this lesson with showing the students the
proper way to handle the whiteboard while going over the
lesson.
1. The teacher will show the student how to properly hold the
pens for the white board.
2. The teacher will show the students how to tap an image to
show what is being asked.
After the students have a grasp on the basic of using the
whiteboard the teacher will them go

Once the assignment is on the smartboard, the teacher will then


go over different fractions, while showing the corresponding
pictures. The teacher will also ask what students questions such
as
What fraction of the bars are yellow?
What number is in the denominator
What number is in the numerator
The teacher will then call on different students (using name
sticks) to come up to the board to color in the number of shapes
indicated by the fraction on the smart board.

Once the teacher decides that the class has a good grasp on
fractions, the teacher will have the students play a game on the
smart board where they have to click on the right fraction with

The student that has been called on, may ask for help
from their peers if needed.
