MEDIA RELEASE
AGGRAVATED ROBBERY SUSPECT ARRESTED
Anderson Township, Ohio, April 20, 2017 Hamilton County Sheriff Jim Neil,
Cincinnati Police Chief Eliot Isaac, and Norwood Police Chief William Kramer report the
arrest of a suspect after a series of five robberies occurring between March 22nd, 2017
and April 15th, 2017. Surveillance video from the robberies show the same suspect
using the same vehicle while committing these offenses. A firearm was displayed or
implied at each offense. The five robberies occurred on the following dates at the
following locations:

1) 3/22/17 at approx. 8:10 A.M., United Dairy Farmers located at 7601 Beechmont
Avenue in the City of Cincinnati (District 2)
2) 3/22/17 at approx. 9:30 A.M., Speedway located at 5030 Batavia Pike in
Anderson Township (HCSO District 5)
3) 3/30/17 at approx. 11:45 A.M., CVS Pharmacy located at 3086 Madison Avenue
in the City of Cincinnati (District 2)
4) 4/8/17 at approx. 3:00 A.M., Pearls Diner located at 3520 Eastern Avenue in the
City of Cincinnati (District 2)
5) 4/15/17 at approx. 2:08 A.M., Speedway located at 2713 Williams Avenue in the
City of Norwood

An investigation brought the three agencies together and a suspect was established as:

Jacob S. Goodwin, a male white, 30 years of age, residing in Anderson Township.

Multiple search warrants were conducted which led to evidence recovered linking
Goodwin to all five robberies. Goodwin has been charged with four counts of
Aggravated Robbery (Felony of 1st Decree) by the appropriate jurisdiction and has been
transported to the Hamilton County Justice Center. An additional charge from the fifth
robbery is expected to soon follow.

This matter remains under investigation by the Hamilton County Sheriffs Criminal
