With SAP S/4 HANA a new Output Management approach is in place. The
complete configuration differs from the configuration that is used when output
managementisbasedonNAST(conditiontechnique).Theconfigurationisbased
onBRF+.InSAPS/4HANA,thetargetarchitectureisbasedonAdobeDocument
ServerandAdobeFormsonly.Fortheformdeterminationrules(alongwithother
outputparameters)BRF+functionalityisused.

Output management based on NAST is not available for new documents in SD

Billing from 1511 and is extended to sales order management from 1602. Similarly,
outputmanagementusingBRF+ismandatoryforPurchaseorderfrom1511.

Prerequisites
 UploadingXMLforimportingoutputdeterminationapplicationin
BRF+(Refnote2248229).
BRF+isactiveandusable
BackgroundRFCconfigurationhasbeensetup
AdobeDocumentServerisavailableADSneedstobe
implementedtoallowSAPtofetchPDFpropertiesforrendering
outputform
KPROhasbeenmaintainedKPROallowstostorePDF

downloadXMLfilestolocaldriveandimportthemusingbelowsteps.

BRF+workbenchwillbedisplayed.Forimportingoutputapplication,weneedto

changelayouttoExpertmode.Followbelowsteps

Nowcomingtomyqueries,weareinthemidofImplementingOPE1511forour
client,andcameacrossthebelowmentionedissues,whiletryingtoprocess
outputmessagesforpurchaseorders,usingBRF+.
1.Withalltheconfigbeingdone,andthedeterminationrulesbeingsetinOPD,
theoutputisnttriggeredwhilecreatingthepurchaseOrderthroughME21N,
insteaditgetstriggeredifIopenthesamePurchaseorderinchangemode.Is
theresomethingthatImissinghere.
2.Ineedtorestricttheoutputgenerationbasedonacertainflaginthevendor
masterdata[BP001/LFA1].Iguessthatshouldbeconfiguredbytheusageof
newrulesets&functionsintransactionBRF+,butnotsurehowtodoit.
3.TheOutputRelevanceDeterminationRuleisnotavailabletomebydefault
somehow,cananyoneofyoupleasehelpmetogetthatdoneincaseifits
relevantobviously.

thanksfortheinputsonBRF+.However,ihavesomedoubts.Whenitryanduse
thefunctionality,iamnotsurewhatdoestheparameterRoleandReceiverID
refertowhenidefinetheoutputforPurchaseOrder.
Also,ihavedefinedtheparametersbutstillthereceiver,Receivercountryand
SendercountryisnotgettingdeterminedintheoutputofmyPO.andduetothisi
amnotabletoseeanyPDFandoutputisstillinPreparationmode.Pleasehelp.

determinationishappeningthroughNACEcurrently.
