SCHS Ski Club Mrs. White 2016/2017 Dear Parents/Guardians, Tam so happy that your child has decided to be part of the ski club! We are hoping to take five trips this year to Montage Mountain. Our fen we 1/13, 1/27, 2/17, 2/24, and 3/2. Whether your child skis, snowboards, snowtub outdoors during the winter is always a good time and a great way for them to get If your child has never skied/snowboarded before, they will be required to take a lesson on the first ski trip they attend, If you would like them to continue to take lessons on later trips, they may, as Montage offers various levels of lessons ~even as far as “expert” lessons that teach how to safely ski down black diamond (expert) slopes. Most of our trips will be on Friday nights, with one or two possible Thursdays. We will leave school at 3:00, meaning your child will miss their last period class. They will be responsible for any missed work We will return to the school at approximately 11:45 PM on Fridays and 10:45 PM on Thursdays. The school district does not pay for transportation to Montage, though we do take a bus. This is a cost that we have to split equally among the students who go.
