Brief Description of Learning Experience:
Teacher
will
inform
the
students
that
they
will
be
starting
a
new
standard
in
social
studies.
Once
the
teacher
explains
the
standard,
students
will
be
asked
to
form
groups
of
three.
The
teacher
will
give
each
student
an
historical
figure
name
that
they
must
find
information
one.
After
the
student
finds
information
on
their
person,
teacher
will
discuss
the
next
steps
of
the
project.
Before
stating
those
steps,
teacher
will
discuss
internet
safety.
If
students
do
not
have
any
questions,
teacher
will
explain
further
directions
and
show
the
class
the
sample
video
that
she
created.
Students
will
have
six
days
to
complete
this
project.
After
students
have
finished
completing
the
project,
they
will
present
it
to
the
class.
All
students
will
provide
effective
feedback
to
the
groups.
The
teacher
will
then
post
the
videos
on
the
classroom
blog
for
parents
to
view.

Internet Safety and Student Privacy:
As
a
teacher,
I
will
discuss
all
issues
that
arise
about
internet
safety
and
student
privacy.
I
will
also
make
sure
that
the
personal
information
of
my
students
is
published
on
any
site
or
work
they
have
completed.
All
parents
will
be
required
to
read
up
on
information
regarding
the
privacy
of
their
child,
along
with
a
permission
slip
form.
All
students
will
be
monitored
closely
while
working.
As
students
find
information
on
the
web,
they
will
use
Google
safe
search.
Describe your personal learning goal for this activity. I hope to learn how well students are able to
complete this project while working with their peers. I would like to learn how I could better y teaching
strategies in order for this project to be a cool breeze.
